The 2007 MTV Video Music Awards is probably an evening the Britney Spears would like to forget. After taking to the stage in nothing more than her underwear and lacklusterly stumbling her way around while lip-synching to Gimme More, the singer's big comeback came to a grinding halt.
But last night, exactly four years after that disastrous performance, Ms Spears proved that she is better than ever - and back at the top in her crown wearing role as the true Princess of Pop.
